Our Donations at Work in the World
We recently donated some funds
to a school in Africa that has been visited by our good friend, Dino.
A message from one of his teaching friends there can be found below, along with
some pictures.
They are very grateful for any support we can provide.
Hello Christ Church Anglican/Lutheran,
I wish to acknowledge receipt of the money sent to us
amounting to three hundred Dollars
after learning that the money was fundraised by churches through you.
We are very grateful for such donations which assist us in our projects.
The task that was started is building the laboratory and Library block,
but since the school is closed all attention is drawn to the school block so
that we may re open soon precisely April.
The money that you sent us will be used as follows
Buying 50 planks @ K150.00 each = K 7,500.00
11 pockets of cement @ K2300.00 each= K25,300.00
Total = K32,800.00
The photos that we have sent will give you a true picture of what is taking place on the ground. Everyone is busy. We are assisting at any point need arises like carrying of bricks and other jobs within the active environment of men and women working. Once again we applaud all those who give us their precious gifts. May God bless you all.
